Remove hood cover if fitted (see Hood cover fitting). Inside: Locate the rear hood rail release lever next
to the drivers seat. Pull the lever to release the rear
hood rail from the body.
Outside: Carefully unfold the hood, positioning the
front rail on top of the windscreen.
HOOD UP PROCEDURE - To avoid potential damage to the vehicle, it is recommended that two people perform the following procedure:
Push down on the corners of the front rail to
ensure correct alignment with the windscreen.
Inside: Open out the front hood clamps to engage
the hook into the windscreen pillars.
Engage the hook into the pillar and clamp down
with the lever. Ensure the release button (arrowed)
is fully out.
