TO ADJUST THE RIDE HEIGHT:
1. Lift up the vehicle safely following the instructions in this owner’s handbook.
2. Record the standard factory settings of the dampers.
3. Ensure that the vehicle is in good condition, including correct tyre
pressures and wheel alignment.
4. Insert the pin-spanner provided into one of the holes in the spring platform.
To increase the preload, turn the spring platform in a clockwise
direction (compressing the spring) using the pin-spanner.
To decrease the preload, turn the spring platform in an anti-clockwise
direction (unloading the spring) using the pin-spanner.
Ensure that the setting is the same on both sides of each axle.
5. Record the chosen settings.
WARNING Always use the same settings on both sides of the rear
axles and both sides of the front axles.
WARNING Ride height adjustment is not recommended for road use.
TO ADJUST THE DAMPING:
1. Record the standard factory settings of the dampers.
2. Ensure that the vehicle is in good condition, including correct tyre
pressures and wheel alignment.
3. Locate the adjuster knob at the top of the dampers with ‘+’ and ‘-’ symbols.
4. Twist the adjuster clockwise until there are no further ‘clicks’. The
damper is now set to the full ‘+’ (full ‘hard’) setting.
5. To decrease the level of damping, twist the adjuster anti-clockwise,
whilst listening for how many ‘clicks’ can be heard.
Ensure that the setting is the same on both sides of each axle.
NOTE: The dampers have 24 ‘clicks’ of adjustment. A recommended road
setting is 11 ‘clicks’ from full ‘hard’ and 7 ‘clicks’ from full ‘hard’ on the track.
6. Record the chosen settings. Damper settings should be recorded as a
negative gure from the full ‘+’ (full ‘hard’). For example, 5 ‘clicks’
should be recorded as ‘-5’.
WARNING Damper settings should always be set to the ‘full +’
(full ‘hard’) setting rst before making adjustments.
WARNING Always use the same settings on both sides of the rear
axles and both sides of the front axles.
WARNING Never force the adjuster knob as this may result in damage.
