Maintenance
Keeping the dampers well maintained and serviced at the correct intervals is
vital to the safety and performance of the vehicle.
Clean the dampers regularly with a soft cloth and detergent. The dampers
should be cleaned at least monthly in arduous conditions.
Apply lubricant to the shock and the chrome shaft if the vehicle is to be left
standing for extended periods.
WARNING Never use strong cleaners as they can damage the surface
of the damper components. The use of compressed air or pressure
washers is not recommended.
Regularly check the dampers for the following points:
1. The shocks are securely tted
2. The bearings have no excessive play
3. The dampers, including shafts, have no damage, surface wear or corrosion
4. The adjusters move freely
5. The composite materials, including seals, have no damage or surface wear
6. The dampers are clean
WARNING Do not operate the vehicle if the dampers are not in
an acceptable condition, as described above.
Service Schedule
A Nitron service schedule book is provided with your Morgan Supersport. It is
recommended that the dampers on your vehicle are serviced by an authorised
Morgan Dealership or Nitron Dealership in line with the service schedule book,
or more frequently in arduous conditions.
Warranty
Nitron offer a 3 year warranty on all Nitron shocks. After the 3 years,
Nitron can offer an additional one year warranty from the date that a
Nitron service is carried out.
