Towing
Your Morgan must not be towed behind another vehicle. If for any reason
the car needs to be transported using means other than the vehicles engine it
should be done using an appropriate car transporter. If this is not an
option then the car should be towed with the drive wheels (rear) o the ground.
WARNING Towing the vehicle with the drive wheels on the ground will
cause damage to the transmission system.
WARNING Observe local laws and regulations regarding towing.
NOTICE: It is always best whenever possible to transport a vehicle using car
transporters rather than towing a vehicle.
CAUTION When moving a vehicle using car transporters secure the vehicle
using wheel chocks and wheel tie down straps. Do not secure the vehicle
using the towing loop, bodywork or suspension components. When loading
the vehicle onto an appropriate car transporter, particular care must be
taken not to damage the front splitter.
To load your Morgan onto an appropriate car transporter, use the towing loop
provided with your vehicle (image below).
1. Locate the towing loop xing point in the chassis as shown opposite.
2. Remove the xing point cap.
3. Screw in towing hook as far as possible and tighten by hand in
a clockwise direction.
TOWING
WARNING When using the towing loop, always pull the vehicle as straight
as possible, not at severe angles.
NOTICE When not in use, the towing loop should remain in the vehicle at all times.
If the engine cannot be started, the automatic gearbox will be
locked, preventing the vehicle from being pushed or rolled (for
example, onto an appropriate car transporter.) To unlock the
gearbox, the neutral lever on the gearbox must be engaged
using the method provided in the video tutorial available on

Towing Trailers
Your Morgan is not designed for use as a towing vehicle for either towing
trailers or other vehicles.
WARNING Do not use your Morgan to tow trailers or any other vehicles.
