NOTE:
Recharge the Motomaster® Eliminator Power Pack' as soon as possible after each use.
When the Power Pack is not being used, it should be recharged once
every
90 days.
Recharging with the AC charger:
(1) Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position.
(2) Plug the 115 V AC charger into charger input socket on the front of the unit.
(3) Plug the 115 V AC charger into the 115 V AC electrical socket.
(4) Do not unplug until the battery is fully charged, which takes 24-30 hours. Depending on
conditions, this could take up to 40 hours.
L'tCAUTION:
The 30-hour charging time for the unit assumes that there is 115 V in the AC wall outlet. If
the
voltage
is less than 115 V AC, it may take more than 30 hours to fully recharge. Once
fully charged, the charging current automatically reduces to a floating charge mode. If your
utility power is interrupted, the charging process automatically restarts when power returns.
Recharging Power Pack with the DC to DC charging cable through the 12 V Power
outlet
The Motomaster® Eliminator Power Pack can be recharged using the DC charging cable
while you drive your vehicle (Only for emergency situations).
L'tWARNING: Fire and Explosion Hazard
Do not use this recharging method if your vehicle's electrical system operates
above
15 V.
This may lead to an accumulation of hydrogen, causing a fire and/or explosion hazard. This
condition is typically found in marine appliances or portable generators with a DC output.
L'tCAUTION
Do not operate AC or DC appliances while the Motomaster® Eliminator Power Pack is
being recharged with the DC Charging Cable from your vehicle.
Important:
It is recommended to detach the DC to DC charging cable from the unit and
vehicle as soon as the battery is fully charged or if the vehicle's engine is turned off.
Important:
Do not
leave
the Power Pack permanently connected to the vehicle's 12 V
accessory outlet.
Note:
The green Charging Status LED will not illuminate when the Motomaster® Eliminator
Power Pack is recharged through the DC charging cable. This charging method is only for
use in emergency situations.
