Date and time
If you have subscribed to a Caller ID service, the date and time is set automatically when
you receive your rst call. (Only applicable to FSK caller ID system).
If you do not have Caller ID service, you can set the date and time manually.
From the cordless handset
1. Press
m, the display shows Phonebook .
2. Scroll
d to Phone setup and press m.
3. Scroll
d to Date & time . Press m.
4. Enter the date using the format DD/MM/YYYY e.g.
Using the keypad enter the date (e.g. 04-12-2015 for 4th of December 2015) and press
m
to conrm.
5. Enter the time in 24 hour format (e.g. 18-30 for 6:30pm) and press
m.
6. Press n to return to standby.
From the corded base
1. Press
m, scroll d to PHONE SETUP.
2. Press m, scroll d to DATE & TIME and press m.
3. Using the keypad enter the date (e.g. 04-12-2015 for 4th of December 2015) and press
m to conrm.
4. Enter the time in 24 hour format (e.g. 18-30 for 6:30pm) and press
m to conrm.
NOTE
Only the last two digits of the year are ajustable.
Your C42 is now ready for use.
