6.4 Recall time
This setting is useful to access certain network and PABX / switchboard services.
The default C42 recall time is suitable for your country and network operator. It is unlikely
that you should need to change this setting unless advised to do so.

RECALL TIME
and press m.
3. Scroll

SHORT

MEDIUM
or
LONG
and press m to conrm.
NOTE
The functionality of your C42 cannot be guaranteed on all PABX. SHORT-100ms,
MEDIUM-250ms & LONG-600ms.
6.5 Dial mode
Your C42 is set to tone dialling. You should only need to change this if connected to an
older type of switchboard / PABX which requires pulse dialling.

and press m.

DIAL MODE
and press m.
3. Scroll

TONE
or
PULSE
and press m to conrm.
6.6 Auto Clock
If you have subscribed to Caller ID Service, the date and time will be set on your base
whenever a call is received. This feature can be set to On or O.

AUTO CLOCK
and press m.
3. Scroll

ON
or
OFF
and press m to conrm.
6.7 De-register a handset
Use your base to de-register a handset.
1. Press

SERVICES
and press m.
2. Scroll
d to
UNREGISTER
and press m.
3. The display shows PIN, using the keypad enter the PIN and press
m.
4. Scroll to the handset you want to de-register and press
m to conrm.
