8.8 Lock / unlock the keypad
You can lock the keypad so that it cannot be operated accidentally while carrying it
around.
1. Press and hold
* for 2 seconds to lock and unlock the keypad.
2. When the keypad is locked the display shows
Keys locked
.
NOTE
When the keypad is locked, you can still answer incoming calls. When the call ends, the
keypad lock comes on again.
8.9 Find a handset
You can alert a handset user that they are wanted or locate a missing handset.
1. Press
P on the base. All handsets registered to the base will ring.
2. To stop the ringing, press
P on the base again, or press any button on the cordless
handset except
I or p.
