This feature allows the user to record the outgoing
greeting announcement that callers will hear when
either the internal Answering Machine or DTMF
Callback Message responds to a call. (See page 142
for more information on DTMF Callback Message
feature.)
A greeting announcement for DTMF Callback
Message should instruct the caller to press •
before entering the digits of their phone number.
When a new announcement is recorded, any
previously received messages will be erased.
If no announcement is currently recorded, the cellular
phone’s Answering Machine will not respond to any
calls.
