Recording Your Name
When you send, reply to, or copy a message, your name precedes the
message. To record or re-record your name at any time, use the
following steps:
Recording Your Active Greeting
Through Nextel Voice Mail Service, there are a number of ways people
can reach you. You may want to include one or all of the following
options in your greeting so that callers will know they are available.
• Press 1 to send a numeric message.

Enter your new password (four to seven digits).

Press ** to return to the main menu.
For security purposes, it is recommended
that you do not choose sequential or
repeated digits like 1-2-3-4 or 5-5-5-5 for
your password.

From the main Voice Mail menu, press 4 to access Personal
Options.

Press 4 to access Personal Preferences.

Press 3 to access the Record Your Name option.

Press 2 to record your name.

Press ** to return to the main menu.
