7CheckyourPDAscreenandfollowtheinstructionstorenewyourpasswordsettings.
8WhenyouhaveenteredandconrmedthepasswordonyourPDA,clickOKonthemessageonyourPC.
Stepresult:TheEnhancedSecuritySettingsareappliedsuccessfully.
9ClickNextExittoclosetheKVLSoftwareInstallationWizard.
10DisconnecttheUSBProgrammingCablefromthePDA.
11ConnecttheSecurityAdaptertothePDA.
IftheSecurityAdapterisnotdetectedautomatically,perform12.4SettingthePDAUSBMode,page12-5
toputthePDAintotheUSBHostorUSBOTGmode.

ForWindowsXP ,ensurethatMicrosoftActiveSyncisinstalledonyourPC.

onyourPC.
ProcedureSteps
1IftheKVLApplicationsoftwareisrunning,exitorlogoutoftheKVL.
2DisconnecttheSecurityAdapterfromthePDA.
