UPC/EAN/JAN Supplemental Redundancy
With Autodiscriminate UPC/EAN/JAN Supplementals selected, this option adjusts the number of times a
symbol without supplementals is decoded before transmission. The range is from two to thirty times. 14 or above is
recommended when decoding a mix of UPC/EAN symbols with and without supplementals. The default is 14.
Scan the bar code below to set a decode redundancy value. Next, scan two numeric bar codes from Appendix D,
Numeric Bar Codes. Enter a leading zero for single digit numbers. In case of an error, or to change the selection,
scan Cancel on page D-3.
