PAP CHAP GPRS Authentication
The GPRS authentication is set to use CHAP and then PAP. The authentication can be set to use only CHAP or
only PAP.
Using a registry editor, navigate to the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RIL]
Create the following key:
“SetGPRSAuthentication”=dword: 0
where:
dword:1 = PAP only.
dword:2 = CHAP only.
dword:3 = CHAP first, then PAP (default)
If this registry key is not set, the CHAP first, then PAP setting will be used.
