4. Select Under battery door radio button to use the primary (A) SIM card or select Under keypad radio button
to use the secondary (B) SIM card.
5. Tap Apply.
6. Wait for the massage SIM socket A (or B) is selected! to appear.
7. Tap ok.
Broadband Settings - SIM Socket Tab
The Broadband Settings applet contains a SIM Socket tab. This tab is disabled (hidden) by default. To enable the
SIM Socket tab:
Using a registry editor, add the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Symbol\Broadband\Gobi2K\Applet\SIMSocket]
Add the following key:
“Enable”=dword:1
where:
dword:0 = Hide tab
dword:1 = Show tab
Carrier Selection Registry Key
The following registry key can be used to configure the default carrier firmware loaded by the modem.
Using a registry editor, navigate to the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SYMBOL\RIL\RHA\GOBI]
Create the following key:
“CarrierIndex”=dword:00000002
