Powering Up the Radio
Press the On/Off
Button briefly.
The green LED blinks
and the numeric
display screen lights
up.
A brief tone sounds,
indicating that the
power up test is
successful.
NOTE: There is no
power up tone if the radio tones/alerts function is
disabled (see Turning Radio Tones/Alerts On or Off
on page 27).
If your radio does not power up, contact your dealer.
To turn off the radio, press and hold the On/Off Button.
NOTE: If the radio is locked up and unresponsive to button
presses, press and hold the On/Off Button for at least 7
seconds. This will force a radio reset.
Your radio may take up to 7 seconds to completely turn
off.
Adjusting the Volume
To increase the volume, press the volume “ + ” button.
To decrease the volume, press the volume “ – ” button.
NOTE: Your radio can be programmed to have a minimum
volume offset where the volume level cannot be turned
past the programmed minimum volume. Check with
your dealer or system administrator for more
information.
