NOTICE:
Your radio automatically acknowledges the
Emergency Alarm (if enabled).
If your radio is set to Silent, it will not display any audio
or visual indicators during Emergency mode, or allow any
received calls to sound through the speaker, until the
programmed hot mic transmission period is over, and you
press the PTT button.
Exiting Emergency Mode After
Receiving the Emergency Alarm
Do one of the following to exit Emergency mode after
receiving Emergency alarm:
Change the channel.
Power down the radio.
Press the Emergency Off button.
Reinitiating Emergency Mode
This feature is only applicable to the radio sending the
Emergency Alarm. Follow the procedure to reinitiate
Emergency mode on your radio.
Do one of the following:
Change the channel while the radio is in
Emergency mode. The radio exits the Emergency
mode, and reinitiates Emergency, if Emergency
Alarm is enabled on the new channel.
Press the programmed Emergency On button
during an Emergency initiation or transmission
state. The radio exits this state, and reinitiates
Emergency.
Text Messaging Features
Your radio is able to send data, for example a text
message to another radio.
Sending a Quick Text Message with the
One Touch Access Button
You can send Quick Text messages using the
programmable button programmed by your dealer.
