3.2.6DynamicGroupNumberAssignment(DGNA)
DGNAallowsthenetworkoperatortodynamicallymanagetalkgroupsonyourradioovertheairinterface.Using
DGNA,thenetworkoperatorcan:
•Addtalkgroups.
•Attachorselectnewlyaddedtalkgroups.
•Deletetalkgroups.
•Modifyparametersofexistingtalkgroups.
Alltheaboveoperationsareperformedbytransmittingdatatoyourradio.
3.2.7DGNAReception
WhenaDGNAmessageisreceived,yourradioplaysatoneanddisplaysamessageTalkgrouplistupdated.If
enabledbyyourserviceprovider,yourradiodisplaysalladdedanddeletedtalkgrouplist.IftheDGNAmessageis
receivedtodeletealltalkgroups,yourradiodisplaysAllTalkgroupsDeleted.YoucanusetheView,Attach,Back,
MENUkey,ROTARYKNOB,ENDkey,andEMERGENCYbutton.PressinganyofthemexitstheDGNAdisplay.
3.2.8DGNAAutoSelectGroup
IftheDGNAAutoSelectiscongured,wheneveryourradioreceivesaDGNA,itswitchestotheaddedtalkgroup.

2Scrollthroughthelisttoselectrequiredtalkgroup.
3ToselecttheDGNAgroup,pressAttach.

ThisfeatureallowsyoutomakeaBroadcastCallfromtheradiothatisinitiatedonthepredenedtalkgroup.Your
serviceproviderpredenesthealiasandthepriorityoftheBroadcastCall.
