TMO Group Call
If the DGNA message is received to delete
all Talkgroups, your MTP850 will display the
following:
DGNA Reception without Notification
Message
If DGNA notification was not configured by
your Service Provider, you will get a tone indication and
notification message only and only if a selected group was
changed by the DGNA.
DGNA Auto Select Group
If DGNA Auto Select was configured by your Service
Provider, whenever a DGNA message is received by your
terminal, the talkgroup will automatically be made the
selected group by your terminal.
Button/Footswitch
This feature provides to the user ability to send preset status
message by pressing the button/footswitch. In TMO mode,
the ability to send an Alarm and initiate a TMO Group/Private
call is unavailable.
Message addressing and sending:
the address can be predefined by the Service Provider, if
not it is sent to currently selected group
if no group is selected the message is sent to the reserved
address
message is sent even if the user is involved in any active
call.
The indication depends on the setting from the Service
Provider. Visible/audible indications can be disabled for the
status message.
When the radio is PIN locked the user can still press the
Button/Footswitch to send the message.
If the radio is out of service the user will only see indication
that the operation failed.
