Syslog
set system syslog option [ off | on ]
Enables or disables system syslog feature. If syslog option is on, the following commands are avail-
able:
set system syslog host-nameip [
ip_address
|
hostname
]
Specifies the syslog server’s address either in dotted decimal format or as a DNS name up to 64 char-
acters.
set system syslog log-facility [ local0 ... local7 ]
Sets the UNIX syslog Facility. Acceptable values are local0 through local7.
set system syslog log-violations [ off | on ]
Specifies whether violations are logged or ignored.
set system syslog log-accepted [ off | on ]
Specifies whether acceptances are logged or ignored.
set system syslog log-attempts [ off | on ]
Specifies whether connection attempts are logged or ignored.
