Conventional Radio Features
Editing a Name in the List
The Selective Call and Call Alert page features share the same
prestored list of unit IDs.
6 Repeat steps 2 through 5 until all the desired IDs have been
entered.
OR
Do one of the following:
• Press the HOME button to return to normal radio operation.
OR
• Press PTT to exit the feature.
Note: The maximum number of characters permitted in a text line
is 8.
1 Press and hold the CALL or PAGE softkey to enter the Call ID list.
2 Use the navigation keys on the keypad mic or the Mode Knob to
locate the list member you want to change.
OR
Use the numbered keys to go immediately to the location of a
member in the list. For example, press 2 to go to the second
member in the list; press 1 and 0 to go to the tenth member in
the list, and so on.
3 Press the NAME softkey to edit a name.
4 Change the characters or numbers using any of the numeric
keys (0 through 9) and special function keys (
*, #) with the
keypad mic.
