Installing/Removing the SIM Card
The SIM card is stored in a recess in the battery
compartment. It is normally covered by the battery
when you use your phone.
Caution: Make sure your phone is powered off
before inserting or removing the SIM card. If you
don’t, you may damage the memory on your SIM
card.
1. Turn your phone off by pressing and holding
the
S
key.
2. Remove the battery cover and battery.
(See “Remove the Battery” on page 31.)
3. Slide the SIM card tray to the left and lift up
the right side of the tray.
