Display Indicators
Indicator Description

Signal Strength Indicator
indicates the strength of the signal
from the network. The more
segments displayed in the bar
graph, the stronger the signal.
You can also check the strength of
the signal at any time through the
menu. See page 76.

Message Indicator appears when
you receive a new message. It
flashes when the SIM card is full.
See “Accessing Messages” on
page 90.

Home System Indicator appears
when the phone has successfully
registered with the Iridium satellite
system.
m
No Service Indicator appears
when your phone is not capable of
placing or receiving calls.
k
In Use Indicator appears when a
call is in progress.
s
Scroll Bar appears on the right of
the display when you are in a
menu. The button on the scroll bar
indicates where you are in the list.
z
Check Mark indicates a menu
item is currently selected.

you to easily identify Quick Access
features as you scroll through the
Quick Access Menu.
