Learning to Use Your Phone

Signal Strength Indicator Vertical bars show the
strength of the network connection. You cannot make or
receive calls when the
0
(no signal) indicator is displayed.
GPRS Indicator Shows that your phone
is using a high-speed GPRS network
connection.
In Use Indicator Shows that a call is in progress.
Roam Indicator Shows that your phone is
seeking or using another network system
outside your home network.
Active Line Indicator Shows the current
active phone line.
Text Entry Mode Indicator Appears when
you are in a text entry screen, to show the
current active text entry mode.
Battery Level Indicator Vertical bars show the battery
charge level. Recharge the battery when you see
Low Battery
and hear the low battery alert.
Ring Style Indicator Shows the ring style setting.

= soft ring

= vibrate
X
= vibrate and ring
Y
= silent
