Entering Area-Based Talkgroup
When you are in the Area Talkgroup, your device sounds a tone.
After you are added to the Area Talkgroup, your device is able to receive calls from the Area Talkgroup
even if Talkgroup Scanning is turned off.
When you are not in an active call, an area-based group call is received if there is any.
If there is an ongoing call, you begin to receive the call upon entering the area.
Exiting Area-Based Talkgroup
When you exit the Area Talkgroup, your device sounds a tone.
NOTE: If you are in a call when you exit the Area Talkgroup, the call continues without
dropping. When the call ends, your device then exits the Area Talkgroup and returns to the
default talkgroup.
