Do Not Disturb
Do Not Disturb (DND) allows you to change the status of
the radio from available to unavailable.
When DND is enabled, an LED blinks and you will not be
able to receive any private call. A negative tone sounds
when a call is initiatited to indicate that the call cannot be
connected.
Turning DND On or Off
NOTICE:
Depending on the configuration of your radio, press
or press and hold the Menu/Programmable button
to directly access the feature. Else, manually enter
the feature with the following procedure.
1 Press the Menu/Programmable button.
2 Locate the Do Not Disturb (DND) icon.
3 To turn on DND, press the Volume Up button. To
turn off, press the Volume Down button.
If DND is on, the following occurs:
• Voice Announcement sounds Do Not Disturb On.
• The display shows a check mark beside the DND icon.
• The LED displays a blinking green light and amber light
periodically.
If DND is off, the following occurs:
• Voice Announcement sounds Do Not Disturb Off.
• The display shows an "X" mark beside the DND icon.
