3-30 SECTION 3, CONFIGURATION
Field Description
LAN Private Host
Name
Displays the current Host name for the router.
The default is “wr850g” (all lower case, without
quotation marks).
Host Table
Displays the current active Host Name and its
associated IP address.
Networking - Routing
You can define up to 20 static routes that specify the Destination IP,
Subnet Mask, Gateway, Interface, and Metric (how many hops). You
configure the Network Routing Table here. The IP address entered
must be a Static IP address.
RIP (Routing Information Protocol) versions 1 and 2 are routing
protocols that are part of the TCP/IP protocol standard. RIP
dynamically determines a route based on the smallest hop count
between source and destination.
To access the screen, click Networking > Routing.
Field Description
RIP V1 Enables or disables RIPv1.
The default is disabled.
