start though, read any documentation that came with your Bluetooth device.
Follow those instruction if they differ from what’s outlined here.
As with other wireless features, you can access the Seings app to get
started:
. If applicable, turn on the Bluetooth device and make it discoverable.
. On the Xoom, tap the Open Apps icon.
. Tap Seings.
. Tap Wireless & Networks.
. Tap Bluetooth (Turn on Bluetooth). (If you don’t see this option, tap the
Back buon.)
. Wait while the Xoom scans for devices.
. If applicable, perform any additional pairing tasks, as detailed in the
device’s documentation.
SHOULD I JUST LEAVE BLUETOOTH ENABLED ALL THE TIME?
You might think it would be okay to leave Bluetooth enabled all the time.
However, this isn’t the case. You just won’t use Bluetooth that often, and
there’s no need to let it drain the battery when you don’t need it. Just turn
on Bluetooth when you need it, and turn it off when you don’t.
Locking Your Motorola Xoom
Unless you configure some protections and take some precautions, any-
one who gains access to your Xoom can use it. If it’s lost or stolen, whoever
finds it can simply press the Power/Lock buon and have free rein to your
personal data. If your kids get ahold of it, they can access anything they like
as well including email, apps, music, and video. Worse, they can use up your
entire data plan watching YouTube videos, send email as you, or update your
Facebook status. It’s best to protect your Xoom using the security features
available.
