The Luci® Beam is a versatile lighting device that functions as both a headlamp and a flashlight, powered by solar energy and rechargeable batteries. It is designed for outdoor use, being durable and completely waterproof.
Function Description:
The Luci® Beam serves as a dual-purpose lighting solution. In its headlamp configuration, it can be worn on the head using an adjustable strap, providing hands-free illumination. The headlamp body features an adjustable 90° pivot, allowing the user to direct the beam straight ahead, downwards, or anywhere in between. When configured as a flashlight, the device offers a portable handheld light source. Both configurations provide multiple light modes, including white light at low, medium, and high intensities, as well as a flashing white light. Additionally, it offers red light modes at low and high intensities, and a red flashing light, which can be useful for preserving night vision or as a signal.
Important Technical Specifications:
- Charging: The Luci® Beam can be charged via its built-in solar panel or a USB-C port.
- Solar Charging: Requires direct sunlight for up to 8 hours for a full charge. Charging time can vary based on UV index and overcast skies.
- USB Charging: Requires a USB-A to USB-C cord (provided) and takes approximately 2 hours for a full charge.
- Battery: The device contains two built-in rechargeable batteries, one in the headlamp body and one in the flashlight body. Both batteries are charged simultaneously regardless of the charging method (solar or USB). The flashlight battery can also charge the headlamp battery by connecting the two and holding the flashlight power button for 3 seconds.
- Battery Level Indicator: An indicator light shows the charging status: orange for charging and green for fully charged.

Usage Features:
- Configuration:
- Headlamp: Detach the headlamp body and headlamp mount from the flashlight body, then connect the headlamp body and mount together.
- Flashlight: Reconnect the headlamp body and mount to the flashlight body.
- Operation (Headlamp & Flashlight):
- Power On/Off: Press the respective power button (headlamp power button for headlamp, flashlight power button for flashlight). Hold for 2 seconds at any time to turn off.
- Mode Cycling:
- 1 click: White low mode
- 2 clicks: White medium mode
- 3 clicks: White high mode
- 4 clicks: White flashing mode
- 5 clicks: Red low mode
- 6 clicks: Red high mode
- 7 clicks: Red flashing mode
- 8 clicks: Turn off
- 90° Pivot: The headlamp features an adjustable 90° pivot. To adjust, open the pivot from the top and tilt to the desired angle.
- Dual Power Buttons: With two built-in batteries, the device essentially offers two products in one. When using the flashlight, the flashlight power button should be used. However, if the flashlight battery is depleted, the headlamp power button can be used while still in the flashlight configuration (provided the headlamp battery has power). Conversely, if the headlamp is out of charge, the flashlight power button can be used.
Maintenance Features:
