2. PABX Onboard Test Procedure

Inspected visually all the PABX main equipment according to
instruction of vendor's drawing.
- One main CPU card
- Four or more Analogue Extension card (16-Ext.)
- One analogue trunk card(8-TRK)
- One main power supply unit

Check main power/emergency source for the PABX system.

Confirmed paging system from PABX through PA loud speakers
by following grouping zones.(Example)
- Zone 1 : Except Sleeping area
- Zone 2 : Drilling area
- Zone 3 : All area

Following function test shall be carried out(Included option)
- Call pick up group, Conference call
- Priority call, External test call
- Transfer (no answer, busy)
- Camp on, Self ring test, Wakeup call
- Password for programming and protection

To be demonstrated software for PABX programming by laptop
or LAN PC.

Demonstrated PABX Failures
- PABX power source, supply or handset fail alarm
- Common fail alarm for IAS

”Ding-Dong” starting signal given by PA access unit and auto
telephone when page shall be the tone for proactively

One at a time and talk to other telephones on the system.
Ensure the telephone directory is there and the number is
correct.
