4.3 Changing the Sensor Filters and the Sensor Gasket
(1) Disassemble the instrument [→ chapter 3.2].
(2) Remove the gasket.
(3) Carefully peel off old filters taking care not to damage the inside of the case.
(4) Remove glue residue if necessary with a suitable solvent.
(5) On new filters peel off backing exposing adhesive. Note proper orientation of
each filter and apply to inside of front case, adhesive side against case.
(6) Press filter into place taking care not to damage filter surface.
(7) Reinstall the sensor gasket in the case front.
(8) Ensure sensor gasket is properly installed.
(9) Assemble the instrument [→ chapter 3.3].
4.4 Changing the Sensors
Attention!
If the filters are exchanged separately, the instrument loses its IP 67 cer-
tification, in that case it is downgraded to IP 65. If you want to keep the
IP 67 certification, it is necessary to replace the complete front case with
integrated dust filters [part no. 10089162].
Attention!
Do not bring any solvent in contact with the display, as it will corrode.
Attention!
Remove and reinstall sensors carefully, ensuring that the components
are not damaged; otherwise instrument intrinsic safety may be adversely
affected, wrong readings could occur, and persons relying on this prod-
uct for their safety could sustain serious personal injury or death.
It is not possible to use other sensors than the three sensor types spec-
ified.
