If the steering wheel needs adjustment:
1. Remove the steering wheel cap with a screwdriver.
See Figure 3.23.
2. Using a socket remove the hex nut and bell washer
that fastens the steering wheel to the shaft.
3. Remove the steering wheel and turn it until the
spokes are centered.
4. Reinstall the steering wheel onto the splined shaft.
5. Install the bell washer, hex nut, and steering wheel
cap, in that order.
• Test the operation of the steering system before
returning the tractor to service.
