RECORDING THE RADIO
RECORDING THE CD
SPECIFICATION
1. Slide the function switch [RADIO-TAPE (OFF)-CD] to TAPE (OFF) position.
2. Press
to open the cassette door and insert the cassette (tape at the top) in the compartment. Then close the cassette door.
3. Press
to start playing and adjust the volume level.
4. Press
to go forward or to rewind your tape.
5. Press
to suspend momentarily the tape and release to resume play.
6. To stop playing, press
and press again to take back your cassette.
Quit slacking
A little bit of slack in your tapes can cause scratches on the tape, or worse yet, the tape could break. If you notice some slack in the
tape, use a pencil to tighten it up before you insert it into the cassette holder.
CASSETTE TAPES
To prevent accidental erasure, bread off the plastic tabs on the cassette tape after recording with a screw - driver or other pointed
tool. To record on the tape again, cover the tab opening with adhesive tape, etc.
TO CLEAN THE HEADS AND TAPE PATHS
After every 10 hours of use, clean the Recording heads and Playback head, the pinch roller and capstan. Use a cotton swab it slightly
moistened with cleaning uid or denatured alcohol.

equipment contains a laser radiating laser rays according to the limit of laser product of class1.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Clean your unit with a damp (never wet) cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used.
2. Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
3. Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as uorescent lamps or motors.
4. If drop-outs or interruptions occur in the music during CD play, or if the CD fails to play at all, its bottom surface may require
cleaning. Before playing, wipe the disc from the center outwards with a good soft cleaning cloth.
5. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths,
curtains, etc. 5cm distances around the apparatus for sufcient ventilations.
6. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal; the use of apparatus in tropical moderate climates.
7. The marking artwork was located in Back enclosure.
8. The product function maybe reset when it is subjected to electrostatic discharge disturbance test.
9. To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
10. To be completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug of apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains.
11. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
12. Do not throw batteries in re!
13. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects lled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed
on apparatus.
14. No naked ame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the apparatus.
Cleaning
WARNING: Disconnect the unit from the mains supply before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry, clean cloth. Regularly dust the vents at the back or sides.
- Using solvents, abrasive or alcohol-based products risks damaging the appliance.
- If an object or liquid enters inside the appliance, unplug it immediately and have it checked by an authorized engineer.
Notes on disc
* Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-shaped, octagonal ones). It may result in malfunctions.
* Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment.
* Do not try to open the disc compartment during playing.
* Do not touch the lens. Doing so may cause malfunction.
* If there is a scratch, dirt or ngerprints on the disc, it may cause tracking error. Before playing, clean the disc with a cleaning cloth.
Wipe the disc from the center out. Don't store discs in places with high temperatures or high humidity, they can become warped.
After playing, store the disc in its case.
Important Note
Before transporting the unit, remove the disc from the disc compartment.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover (or back). There are no user serviceable
parts inside the unit. Refer all servicing to qualify personnel.
The lightening ash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of “ dangerous voltage”
inside the unit.
If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this product please note that Waste electrical products should not
be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for
recycling advice.(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive)
