The function diagram for the EOT sensor includes the
following:
• EOT sensor
• Electronic Control Module (ECM)
• Injection Driver Module (IDM)
• Fuel injector
• Exhaust Gas Recirculation Position (EGR)
• Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VG T )
• Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR)
• ENGINE lamp (amber)
Function
The EOT sensor is a thermistor sensor installed in
the rear of the front cover, left of the high-pressure oil
pump assembly. The ECM supplies a 5 V reference
