Fuel Filter

1. Open water drain valve and drain fuel into a
suitable container.

2. Unthread housing cover and fuel filter as an
assembly.
3. Pull fuel filter from housing cover and discard
O-ring gasket.
4. Place a new O-ring gasket onto housing cover.
5. Install a new fuel filter onto housing cover.
6. Lubricate housing cover threads and O-ring
gasket with diesel fuel.
7. Thread fuel filter and housing cover in as an
assembly. Torque to the special value (Table 47).
