Overview

The WeChip W1 is a 2.4GHz wireless air mouse designed to function as both a remote control and a mini-keyboard, offering versatile input for various devices, including smart TVs. Its primary function is to provide intuitive navigation and text input through a combination of an air mouse, a traditional remote interface, and a QWERTY keyboard.

Function Description:

The device integrates three main functionalities:

  • Air Mouse: This allows users to control a cursor on screen by moving the remote in the air, similar to a Wii remote. This feature is activated and deactivated by pressing a dedicated air mouse button. The cursor speed is adjustable, offering four levels of sensitivity to suit user preferences.
  • Remote Control: The front side of the device features standard remote control buttons, including power on/off, home, confirm/direction keys, return, and volume controls (volume up and volume down). It also includes an IR learning function, enabling it to learn commands from an existing TV remote, effectively consolidating multiple remotes into one.
  • Mini-Keyboard: The reverse side of the device houses a full QWERTY keyboard, facilitating easy text input for searching, browsing, or typing messages. It includes alphanumeric keys, symbols, and function keys like Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Enter, Back, PgUp, PgDn, Home, and End. A dedicated "Fn" button allows access to numeric keypad functions and other blue-labeled secondary functions on the keyboard.

Important Technical Specifications:
