The items requiring configuration are the RS232 comms settings and
bill opacity or singularity.
RS232 Comms

To select RS232 comms and baud rate, set the DIP switches (U23 on
the 5635 control board), SW1-SW8 as follows:
where 0 = up and 1 = down.
Refer to the previous section on “Replacing the Control Board” to
determine the type of board and the location of the switchpacks.
