19 Turn the take-up spool in the direction shown until all the ribbon leader
is wrapped on the core.
20 Snap the take-up spool into place on the ribbon housing.
• Turn the take-up spool until the ribbon is tight.
21 Push straight down on the green latch. As it moves downward, the
carriage will move down also.
• When the latch stops moving, press down hard until the latch clicks
into the operating position.
22 Close the encoder door.
