To turn the transport on and off, you use the power switch. The picture below
shows where this switch is located and its ON and OFF positions.
Typically, you turn the transport on at start-of-day and off at the end. But
sometimes you may have to turn it off and on again (For example, you may
sometimes be told to do this to clear errors that you can't clear any other way.)
Note: When shutting off the transport, wait a minute after the transport
pockets the last document before turning off the transport. This gives the
Graphical Endorser time to shut down the ink cartridges.
Caution: When ever you turn the transport off, wait at least 10 seconds before
turning it on again. Otherwise, you could damage the transport.
