The Hopper

The high perfromance hopper is the first module at the left end of your
transport. The document hopper, hand-drop and merge hopper provide a
means of introducing documents of varying dimensions, weights and sizes
to the transport track. The tape out-sort bin extracts and sorts adding machine
tapes from other documents .
Documents loaded into the hopper are pushed from behind by a weighted
paddle. The paddle forces the documents into contact with a series of drive
wheels that propel the documents down the track. The document hopper can
hold up to 2500 documents (one standard document tray)..
