The hand-drop is located near the left end of your transport. You use the
hand-drop when you need to feed documents into the transport one at a time.
This hand-drop is designed to make your work easier and less tiring. Without
lifting your arm off the padded armrest, you can pick documents up from the
tray, hold and read them, and drop them straight into the hand-drop. The line
on the back of hand-drop area is the start of the “strike zone”. As long as you
drop the leading edge of the documents past this line, they should feed into
the track successfully.
