Image-Lift/Reader Module

If you are not sure whether you have an image-lift/reader module, see “Image
or Reader Module” on page 1-3“.
If your transport does have an image-lift/reader module, the way you remove
a jammed document from this module depends on where the document is
caught: in the stager, or under the module cover.

If the document is caught in the stager, simply pull the hinged gate and
remove document.

1 Make sure your monitor is out of the way, then gently lift the hinged
cover of the module and push it back until it stays open.
Document caught in rollers to LEFT of camera(s): gently spread the front
and rear track guides apart and roll the document out.
