Downstream Image-Lift
Module
2
If you are not sure whether you have a downstream image-lift module (ILM),
see “Downstream Image-Lift Module” on page 1-4.
If your transport does have a downstream ILM, the way you remove a
jammed document from this module depends on where the document is
caught: to the left of the camera(s) or to the right of the camera(s).
If the document is caught in the rollers to the left of the camera(s), follow
these steps to clear it:
1 Lift the hinged cover of the module to the right until it stays open.
2 Gently spread apart the front and rear track guides and roll the
document out.
3 Close the module cover.
If the document is caught in the rollers to the right of the camera(s), follow
these steps to clear it:
1 Lift the hinged cover of the module to the right until it stays open.
2 With one hand, squeeze the two green levers toward each other.
