The NCR RealPOS 5976–1xxx Customer Display is a 2–line x 20–character Liquid
Crystal Display (LCD), which can display any downloadable code page of single byte
characters. The 5976 supports both RS–232 and USB interfaces.

Intended Users of the Product IDs
Depending on the specific needs of the user, the 5976 provides different
configurations: three configurations contain the latest versions of the firmware and

components of its 5975 predecessor.
5976 Full Feature Models
The full feature 5976 models are intended for users who want to install a line display
to their POS system. After installing the 5976 display, users need to download and
install new software and utilities.
