Extended Desktop Dual Display Mode Setup (VGA and VGA)
ThismodeisaccomplishedusingaPCIVGAvideocard,suchasthe
ATIRageXL.
Note: TheBIOSvideosettingsshouldbechangedbeforeinstallingthe
PCIcardintotheterminal.
1. VerifythatthePrimaryVGAdisplayisconnectedtothe
MotherboardandsetupproperlyinWindows(see
SingleDisplay
Setupabove).
2. Applypowertotheterminal.
3. WhenyouseetheNCRlogodisplayedpress[Del]toentertheBIOS
SetupUtility.
a. SelectChipset
→ Intel Montara-GML NorthBridge.
b. ChangePrimary Video DevicefromAutotoInternal.
c. Press[F10]toSaveandExit,then[Enter]toconfirm.
d. Pressthepowerbuttonastheterminalboots(bootinginto
Windowsisnotrequiredatthistime).
4. InstalltheVGAPCIcard.
5. Installthevideodriverfor
thePCIcard(seehttp://www.ncr.com/
Support).
6. UsetheIntelGraphicsControlPaneltoadjustthesettingsofthe
MotherboardVGAdisplay.
7. UseWindowsDisplayPropertiestoenableExtendedDesktopandto
adjusttheVGAPCIsettings.
Note: TheMotherboardVGAportshouldbethePrimaryDisplayin
Windows.
