Receipt Printing is Light or Spotty

Thermal
print head
may be dirty
Open the receipt cover and clean the
thermal print head with cotton swabs
and isopropyl alcohol.
Note: Do not use the alcohol to clean
other parts of the printer. Damage will
occur.
Contact a service representative if this
does not resolve the problem.

Note: The thermal print head does not normally require cleaning if the recommended
paper grades are used. If a non–recommended paper has been used for an extended
period of time, cleaning the print head with alcohol and cotton swabs will not be of
much benefit. For information on the recommended paper, refer to Ordering Thermal
