CARE & USE
THE FILTER HAS BEEN PREFLUSHED
AT THE FACTORY, BUT IT IS A
GOOD IDEA TO FLUSH IT AGAIN BEFORE INITIAL USE.
Remove Filter Cap Assembly. Be sure to remove scker
from boom of the filter. Fill Bole almost full and replace
cap ghtly. Flush bole by holding bole at about a 45
degree angle and squeeze bole to force water through
the filter and up through the straw. Repeat twice.
Bole is now ready for use.
Use with confidence and enjoy!
DO NOT place the bole in the freezer
DO NOT fill with hot water
DO NOT fill with anything except water
DO NOT put bole in dishwasher
Maintenance & Storage
When the filter system will not be in used for an extended
period, flush chlorinated water through the filter and allow
to dry thoroughly with cap removed. Reassemble and stow.
Exclusive filter is tested by EPA and State registered
laboratories and meets and or exceeds EPA/ANSI protocols
and NSF (standards 42 & 53).
What is the IONIC-ADSORPTION MICRO-FILTRATION
SYSTEM?
This advanced technology was developed, refined and
proven through diligent, invesgave research and tesng
performed by water purificaon specialist, researchers and
engineers.
Removal of contaminants with carbon is a surface phenom-
enon known as absorpon, resulng from the molecular
aracon of substances to the surface of the carbon, as the
bole is pressed and the source water is forced through the
filter.
The rate of adsorpon is determined by the quality and
volume of carbon used. The filter has been calculated to
yield the greatest removal of toxic chemicals caused by
polluon of industry and agriculture.
This exclusive filter also incorporates proprietary adsorbing
medias that are impregnated into the micro-porous filter
for the IONIC adsorpon of pollutants passing through the
filter. The high-tech porous plasc micro-filter system con-
tains thousands of interconnected Omni-direconal pores
resulng in a “torturous path” that cannot be duplicated
by any other porous materials, creang an extremely ght
maze for pathogens to travel.
SEYCHELLE – IODINATOR
When using source water of an unknown quality, it is
extremely important to take every precauon to avoid
illness or serious infecon. Primary concerns are the
microbiological contaminants that can be in water
supplies that are not disinfected. Pathogens are found in
three types – virus, bacteria, and cysts. Each has its own
individual neutralizaon or reeducaon capacies. The
Iodinator is designed with specific anbacterial effecvely
and death/me curve rao. The longer the exposure to
the iodinated water (using EPA approved iodinated resin)
the kill rate (see Contact Tim Required to Kill the various
organisms).
The filtraon/purificaon 2-micron absolute filter is also
effecve at removing addional areas of contaminants (SEE
Analyte % Reducon)
Tech Talk
The Iodinator is a posive charged Iodine structure which
aracts negavely charged contaminants found in the
water. When a contaminant comes in contact with our
proprietary Iodinator, the two most important factors in
effecveness of this process are: the volume of germicide
(Iodine) and the contact/kill me (see chart). By this ongo-
ing process, bacterial, virus and protozoa are neutralized
or killed. Tests verify up to 99.9999% bacteria reducon.
Our Iodinator is designed with a scienfically specified
volume of Iodine with exact delusion rates proporonate
to the volume of contaminants in the water. The filtraon
element has been impregnated with a proprietary anion
that removes both Iodine and Iodide as the water passes
through the filter system so that there is no iodine taste or
odor in the water you drink!

90 DAY UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE
Manufacturer warrants the portable water filtraon system
to the consumer for a period of 90 days from the date of
purchase, when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instrucons. If there is any defects with the product,
return the unit, postage paid, to the distributor with a valid
purchase receipt. This guarantee does not cover improper
use, or maintenance or premature clogging by overly turbid
water. This warranty gives the consumer specific rights.
