The NEBO Pal+ (item #6715) is a versatile multi-tool designed to serve as a power bank, a flashlight, and a folding knife. This compact device offers a range of functionalities suitable for various situations, from everyday use to outdoor activities.

Function Description:

The Pal+ integrates three primary functions into a single, portable unit:

  1. Power Bank: It features a built-in power bank that allows users to charge their USB-powered devices. This is particularly useful for mobile phones, tablets, or other small electronics when an external power source is unavailable.
  2. Flashlight: The device includes a powerful LED flashlight with multiple lighting modes, providing illumination for different needs.
  3. Folding Knife: A removable folding knife is integrated into the design, offering a practical utility tool.

Important Technical Specifications:

Flashlight:

  • High Mode: 400 lumens, with a run time of 2.3 hours and a beam distance of 167 meters.
  • Low Mode: 40 lumens, with a run time of 13 hours and a beam distance of 57 meters.
  • Strobe Mode: 400 lumens, with a run time of 2.5 hours and a beam distance of 167 meters.

Power Bank:

  • The Pal+ is fully rechargeable and serves as a power bank for charging USB-powered devices.
  • The charging indicator blinks red while charging and turns steady red when fully charged.
  • The charging indicator turns blue when used as a power bank.

Usage Features:

Charging Instructions (Pal+ Device):

  • Open the charging compartment to access charging ports.
  • Use the Micro USB port to charge the Pal+.
  • Use the USB port to charge your USB-powered device.

Lighting Instructions:

  • Power On/Off: Press the button 1x to activate the flashlight. Press the button again to turn it off.
  • Strobe Mode: Press the button 2x to activate STROBE mode.
  • Dimming Instructions:
    • While ON, press and hold the button to activate the dimming function.
    • The light will flash quickly when it reaches 10% or 100% to indicate it has reached the lowest or highest light output.
    • Release the button at any time to achieve the desired brightness.
    • The light will continue to dim/brighten between 100% and 10% until the button is released.
  • Memory Power Recall: If the light has been dimmed and powered OFF, the next activation will recall the last used power setting. To reprogram, simply follow the dimming instructions to achieve the desired brightness.

Power Bank Feature:

  • To charge your mobile device or other USB-powered devices, simply connect them to the USB output port of the Pal+. The device charges your mobile device anytime, anywhere, adding hours of power.

Removable Blade:

  • To remove the blade, use a coin to unscrew the blade screw by turning counter-clockwise.
  • To reattach, simply reverse these steps.

Maintenance Features:

Battery Care:

  • The manual advises against mixing old and new batteries, or different types of batteries (alkaline, standard carbon-zinc, or rechargeable NiCad/NiMH).
  • It also warns against using rechargeable or reusable alkaline batteries.
  • Proper disposal of old batteries is recommended.
  • It is best to fully charge the unit before initial use.

Safety Warnings:

  • Eye Injury: Avoid staring directly into the beam or shining it directly into anyone's face, as doing so for more than a few seconds could cause retinal damage.
  • Children: Do not allow children to use LED lights unless under the supervision of an adult.
