4. Select "Migration with addition".
5. Specify the RAID level to be used after the reconstruction.
6. Select a HDD to be added.
7. When you have finished steps 5 to 7, click [Go] at the lower right of the screen.
8. The progress of the reconstruction is displayed on the lower left of the screen.
Click [Home] to return to the WebBIOS Top Menu.
Caution
■ The capacity of virtual disk may be incorrectly displayed
after reconstruction. In this case, perform a Scan Devices
from the Top Menu.
■ Click [Home] while a background task such as Consistency
Check, Rebuild, or Reconstruction is being executed. When
the progress indication is displayed, the background task
may process at a slow rate.
WebBIOS and Universal RAID Utility
You can use the Universal RAID Utility for the configuration, management, and
monitoring of RAID System under the operating system.
The points to keep in mind when using the Universal RAID Utility together with
WebBIOS are as follows.
Terms
LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility and Universal RAID Utility use different
terms. Please refer to the following list.
Number and ID
The numbers assigned to each component are different in both utilities.
