- Maintenance Utility
The Maintenance Utility is usually used by the service representative.

- BIOS/FW Updating
You can update the system BIOS using a floppy disk (prepare a 3.5"
floppy disk). (See

- ROM-DOS Startup FD
The ROM-DOS Startup FD is used to start the ROM-DOS system.(See
“ROM-DOS startup FD” on page 240).
- Test and diagnostics
This function allows you to diagnose this computer. (See
“Test and diag-
nostics” on page 240).
■ Maintenance Tools (Redirection Mode)
If you want to operate this computer via the BIOS redirection (the console-less
function), select this item.
Note: If you operate this computer via the Remote KVM
function, select the "Maintenance Tools (Normal mode)".
The menu's functions are the same as the "Maintenance Tools (Normal Mode)".
