15-07-01 Programmable Function Keys
This program is used on a per station basis to assign different function
keys to the Multiline Terminals.
Function key (50) is the Account Code key. This key is pressed when
the user wants to start entering the account code and pressed again
when the user is done entering the account code.
If the user does not want to program the account code key on their
phone they can use the
*
key, on the dial pad, to start and stop the
account code entry.
50 = Account Code
(Refer to the programming manual for
the default values and for all other
available options in this command.)
21-01-14 Forced Account Code Inter-digit Timer
If the user does not enter the account code in the amount of time
specified in this program the call will be restricted.
0 ~ 64800 seconds
(default = 3 seconds)
Operation
To enter an Account Code anytime while on a trunk call:
The outside caller cannot hear the Account Code digits you enter. You can use this procedure if your
system has Optional Account Codes enabled. You may also be able to use this procedure for
incoming calls. This procedure is not available for Single Line Terminals.

2. Dial your Account Code (1~16 digits, using 0~9 and #).
If Account Codes are hidden, each digit you dial shows an “
” character on the telephone display.

To enter a Forced Account Code before dialing the outside number:
If your system has Forced or Verified Account Codes, you may use this procedure instead of letting
the system prompt you for your Account Code. You may also use this procedure if your system has
Optional Account Codes.
If your system has Verified Account Codes enabled, be sure to choose a code programmed into your
Verified Account Code list.
1. Access trunk for outside call.
You can access a trunk by pressing a line key or dialing a code. Refer to Central Office Calls,
Placing on page 1-143 for more information.

3. Dial your Account Code [1~16 digits, using 0~9 and # or (3~16 digits for Forced)].
If you make an incorrect entry, your system may automatically alert the operator. If Account Codes
